  1. Introduction

As Sosyal Teknolojiler İletişim Yayın ve Reklam Hizmetleri Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (“unite.ad”), we value your privacy and security of your personal data. It is our primary goal to take the necessary security measures and implement controls by our organization in order to protect personal data. Therefore, we created this Privacy Policy to enlighten you about what data we collect, purposes of data collection and your rights regarding your data.

  1. Personal data we process

We collect personal data in order to comply with our legal obligations and to ensure the continuity of the company’s activities. The types of personal data we collect are as follows:

Employee/Candidate Information: Name, surname, phone number, address, Turkish identification number, passport number, date of birth, photographic image, relationship status, emergency contact number, criminal record information, email address, handwriting, signature, reference information, social insurance number, financial account numbers and company wide announcements are provided to us directly by our employees and candidates. We obtain video containing a face, date of hiring, performance information, compensation/salary, accommodation information, customer account messages, passwords, complaint files, work locations, financial transaction data.

Influencer/Celebrity Information: Name, surname, phone number, address, Turkish identification number, passport number, date of birth, photographic image, video containing a face, email address, handwriting, signature, reference information, financial account numbers, social media accounts and remuneration are provided to us directly by influencers and celebrities we work with. We obtain financial transaction data and performance information.

Customer Information: Name, surname, address, tax ID, internal policies or procedures, financial account numbers, personal data of their employees and contingent workers such as name, surname, phone number, email address are provided to us directly by our customers. We obtain financial transaction data and video containing a face.

We collect, analyze and review personal data using human review.

  1. How do we use personal data we collect?

We process Employee Information in order to maintain a successful and lawful employment relationship. Legal bases for the processing purpose are consent, performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations.

Candidate Information is processed to hire the right person to a position. Legal basis for the processing purpose is consent.

Influencer/Celebrity Information is processed to provide influencer/celebrity marketing services. Legal bases for the processing purpose are consent and performance of a contract.

We process Customer Information in order to provide influencer/celebrity marketing services and to maintain a successful and lawful business relationship. Legal bases for the processing purpose are consent, performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations.

  1. How long do we store personal data?

Employee Information is stored as long as the related employee is employed by unite.ad and for 10 years after the termination of the employment contract. We store Candidate Information for 1 year.

Customer Information is stored as long as our cooperation and business relationship continues with each customer and for 10 years after the end of our cooperation and business relationship.

We store personal data in our own local storage and a third party storage solution.

  1. Sharing personal data

We only share Influencer/Celebrity Information with our customers in order to provide influencer/celebrity marketing services. Legal bases for the processing purpose are consent and performance of a contract.

Aside from the abovementioned transfer we do not share personal data with third parties except for the purpose of responding to binding requests from public authorities or courts in order to fulfil our legal obligations.

  1. Age limit

Our services are intended to be offered to persons aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly process personal data of a person under 18. If we become aware that we process personal data of a minor, we will erase such data immediately.

  1. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data we process. These measures are, including but not limited to, encryption, privacy and security trainings, physical access restrictions, limitation of employees’ access to personal data.

  1. Your rights regarding your personal data

  • The right to learn whether or not your personal data have been processed
  • The right to request information and copy as to processing if your personal data have been processed
  • The right to learn the purpose of processing of the personal data and whether data are used in accordance with their purpose
  • The right to know the third parties in the country or abroad to whom personal data have been transferred
  • The right to request rectification in case personal data are processed incompletely or inaccurately
  • The right to request deletion or destruction of personal data
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time
  • The right to request notification of the deletions, rectifications and destructions of personal data to third parties whom personal data have been transferred
  • The right to object to occurrence of any result that is to your detriment by means of analysis of personal data exclusively through automated systems
  • The right to request compensation for the damages in case you incur damages due to unlawful processing of personal data
  • The right to request termination of processing all or some of your personal data
  • The right to request a copy of your personal data processed by us in electronic format and transmit those information to another party
  • The right to object us, at any time to processing your personal data
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
